Westbrook heroes for Eagles

American Football player,Brian Westbrook , is a hero of the day.He reached into his bag of tricks and pulled out a 71-yard TD reception to save and help the Eagles to a 26-14 victory against Minnesota on Sunday night.

Through the first three quarters, Westbrook had mustered just 30 yards on 16 carries to go with two catches for 12 yards. Those stats certainly weren't worth his $7.85 million price tag.

Then Donovan McNabb dumped the ball off to Westbrook on a roughly 3-yard pass that turned into a 71-yard gain for a touchdown. And just like that, Westbrook had a nice fantasy day. He finished with 121 total yards.

That play also saved McNabb's day. The QB had been struggling before that play, committing two turnovers. He finished with 300 yards, one TD and one INT.

Meanwhile, Westbrook and McNabb should again be fantasy staples next season, with DeSean Jackson (1-34) emerging as a legit WR2 play after having one season under his belt. Also, Brent Celek (6-56) could be a sleeper at tight end if L.J. Smith doesn't return to the team.
